My Texas Property Tax (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a service of Arjunani CPA PLLC, provides property tax protest and related services to Texas property owners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information created as we work on your behalf:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
  • Property information: property address, account number, appraisal district, ownership details, and protest history.
  • Account credentials: the email and password you use to access your client portal.
  • Authorization records: your electronic signature and the appointment-of-agent and service-agreement forms you sign.
  • Exemption documents: if you ask us to file a homestead or other exemption, a copy of your driver’s license or other identification, which we store in an access-restricted location.
  • Evidence you upload: photos, repair estimates, and other documents that support your protest.
  • Usage data: basic technical and analytics data such as device, browser, and pages viewed.

How we use your information

  • To file and pursue your property tax protest with the appropriate appraisal district.
  • To prepare and file homestead or other exemption applications you request.
  • To create and manage your account and communicate with you about your case.
  • To calculate and bill our success fee.
  • To improve our services and meet our legal and professional obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service:

  • Appraisal districts and taxing authorities, as your designated agent, to file and argue your protest or exemption.
  • Service providers that host our systems, send email, and process documents on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, clients, or others.

Data retention and security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal and recordkeeping requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including access-restricted storage for identification documents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • You can review and update your profile information in your client portal.
  • You can opt out of marketing emails using the link in those emails or by contacting us.
  • You can ask us to access or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account may end our ability to represent you, and we may retain limited records as required by law.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your session, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
